"Let's Talk: Evidence-informed Methods for Effectively Introducing New Foods" WEBINAR with Dina Rose, Ph.D.
Dr. Dina Rose is a sociologist, parent educator, and feeding expert. Dr. Rose developed a unique and valuable perspective on the challenge of successfully starting children off on a varied diet and introducing new foods at any age. She is the creator of “It’s Not About Nutrition” and “The Super Food Explorer Kit”, and author of “It’s Not About the Broccoli: Three Habits to Teach Your Kids for a Lifetime of Healthy Eating.”
Objectives — At the conclusion of the activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify why and how children develop the habit of refusing new foods;
- Report how parents can lay the foundation for variety using the foods children already eat; and
- Describe sensory education and how to employ it to turn children into adventurous explorers.
