Nourishing nutrition and wellbeing in Pennsylvania
Effective and evidence-based nutrition and physical activity resources
Vision
By providing effective, evidence-based, appropriate nutrition and physical activity resources for Pennsylvanians across the state, PA NEN envisions a Commonwealth where everyone has access to healthy, safe, and affordable nutrition. We are working towards a future where healthy choices are the easiest choices.
Who is PA NEN?
The Pennsylvania Nutrition Education Network (PA NEN) is a state-wide SNAP-Ed provider working to improve the nutrition and wellbeing of SNAP-Ed eligible Pennsylvanians through three primary initiatives: the Be Healthy PA social marketing campaign, the CookWith recipe app, and professional development opportunities for PA SNAP-Ed staff and other nutrition and public health professionals. PA NEN operates under the umbrella of Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC).
