Meet the PA NEN Staff
Christine Mullin, MPH, CPH, R.D., Network Director

Christine holds B.S. degrees in Biology and Allied Health (Clinical Dietetics) and a master's degree in Public Health from the University of Connecticut. As a Registered Dietitian, she has worked for Federal, State and Community agencies providing nutrition assessment and education. As director of the New London County WIC Program, her interest in nutrition education developed in the area of providing pertinent, understandable nutrition education to clients of varied education and language backgrounds.
As Network Director, Cris carries responsibility for staff and project oversight. She will also work on the creation and implementation of the Network’s social marketing campaign.
Rose Pallotta-Cleland, Network Promoter and Event Coordinator

Rose holds a B.S. degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Penn State University. In addition to past positions in event planning and marketing, she has participated in various local charity events.
Rose coordinates and plans the Network’s professional development events, including seminars, workshops and the annual conference. She also carries responsibility for Network publications, including resource booklets and promotional materials.
Malorie Blake, R.D., LDN, Community Nutritionist

Malorie received her B.S. degree in Clinical Dietitics at the University of Pittsburgh. During school, she worked in the research field, involved in a pediatric weight management study geared toward the lower-income population. After graduating, she ventured out to Central Pa where she worked at a small community hospital developing nutrition education programs, providing outpatient nutrition counseling, and working with the acute-care population. Malorie is also certified in Adult and Pediatric Weight Management through the American Dietetic Association. Currently, she is finishing up her Masters degree and also working as a nutrition educator at the Susan P. Byrnes H.E.C. in York.
Malorie acts as a liason to the PA Nutrition Education Tracks program, contributes to the formation and implementation of the State Nutrition Action Plan (SNAP) and assists in the development of opportunities to provide nutrition education to underserved low-income populations.
Malorie is also involved in planning education events for PA NEN members along with supporting various PA NEN committees.
Julie Davis Bartol, Staff Clerical Assistant

Julie holds a B.A. degree in Letters, Arts and Sciences, with an emphasis in Marketing and Business Concepts, from Penn State University. Recently, she has taken a variety of graphic and web design classes from HACC. Her background includes event planning, marketing, website, data entry and budgeting experience. She is a dedicated member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, and an active volunteer for several charity organizations.
As Staff Clerical Assistant, Julie is responsible for updating the databases, keeping the Web site current, and assisting in event planning and the production of network publications.
